I thought the sugar huddle was the quick huddle close to the LOS sam wyche ran with the bengals !?!?
From what I have read the QB and oline huddle only in no huddle is also close to the LOS and is often called the muddle huddle...

We made a bunch on my computer and then send them to the district printing office who printed them up 11x14 and then laminated them. So they weren't huge but it was cheap and effective as we had a bunch made up. Used pictures from the year before with motivational sayings. Found others oline. etc etc...

Go for 2 pts play. And how to defend.
How to no-huddle / defend it.
some basic rules - cant block low on change of possessions ANYWHERE!
sideline management - stay in box
Team Alerts - ie) punt team on deck - have all 11 ready / know who comes on / off

Man these are priceless.
We had one kid that was complaining right before kickoff he had to do a #2. We could not beleive it. We tell him fine then go. He disappears. About 10 minutes later here comes a guy in a suit and tie with our kid behind him. I don't know what's going on as the guy is talking to our HC. I find out later on the way home.
It seems the school was locked (away game - tought part of town) and the kid was desperate. So he took a #2 in the bushes. Right in front of the principal's office!!! The principal saw him through the window and came out and caught him in the middle of the act. Not like it was on his prized rose - bushes...but he was not happy.
So when the other kids found out they called that kid "S#$tty" from then on...
One other time a kid really had to do a #1 but we were on the highway. We told him to try to hold it. But then we got stuck in traffic. It was real stop and go. The bus driver did not want to stop so he let the kid use the garbage bucket!!! So right by the door the kid went in front of the whole team that was laughing hysterically!!!

In my one year experience with a team that ran the Willamette fly I would have to say that beside the Fly Sweep our next best plays were the dive and trap with the backside RB. If LBers flowed it really opened up.
Then if the Backers were being honest but the Force came fast vs the Fly sweep the next play (that hits the frontside C-Gap) Was the Power to the Fly side. The kickout was often not needed as the EMOL was going with the fly. The force was not needed to be blocked as the Fly occupied. Since the backers were staying home the down and chip to seal were easier, thus the off tackle was a clear path.

Didn't the Panthers have a stump with an ax in their locker room and someone cut their leg the year they went to the super bowl? something like that?

Some other things I have come across. Jet is more tied to Wing T and Double Wing Systems. It uses a handoff where the motion man has his hands by his hips thumbs out and palms facing forward. Thus jet often also has tight splits. Has a great quick underneath reverse to the other wing man. Much like Double wing waggle. Fly is often a system of its own are a series in an offense. Fly teams use wide splits. Fly is often Split back or Ace back. Fly is more with conventional offenses. But then again lots of Wing teams probably call it fly

It has to be saved on your computer first. Then you download it through Youtube membership. It's pretty easy.
Just takes up a lot of space on your computer first...

Man thats unreal. I just cant believe that!
What system do you run? You may need to do something different to make your opponents uncomfortable.
I can't believe you dont have more seniors. Can you recruit more kids to come out??!?!
If its not too late try to ligthen the load of your schedule. The worst thing you can have is an extra tough schedule and get it handed to you every game...

I have a daughter and my wife thinks that if we have another daughter and not a son I will be upset. Sure I want a son, but I tell her that football players are often like sons to me and if we only have daughters it will be even moreso.

Protect the ball - Points of pressure Maintain blocks - to the whistle Be the hitter, not the hitee Fire off the ball - Our advantage is we know cadence Able to use different cadences - Don't let them key in Able to adjust on the go - Know their schemes and adjust Make plays - Need Playmakers Protect the QB - QB must have pocket presence Maintain composure - 4 yard runs in 1st Q are 40 in 4th Q Never give up - play to the whistle Block downfield - and use your blockers
Just a few of the top of my head...

cj...how do you make your kids more physical???
ie our backs just dont run people over blocking or with the ball. how do we teach that explosiveness??? our kids seem more finesse...we just dont have a bruiser in the backfield...do you have drills that would help??? what is your teaching that makes your kids more manly???

Realized this post is better here...
What do you think of the Lev Sled?
We have a 5 man Mod sled but our Oline coach says it teaches them bad technique as they have to cheat to drive it and they dont hip explode and rise like you would on a Lev Sled (and hopefuly in a game).
So thinking about buying a Lev Sled (with a small budget).
Thoughts?

Is it just me or is this part of baseball??? I never see coaches throw tantrums like they do in baseball. That game is so boring I guess they have to do something to liven it up. Its the only sport I have seen where one of the highlites is a player asleep in the dugout during the game...

Coaches, We have a great new group of student managers.
Trying to find enough for them to do.
What do you have yours responsible for? Can you share a practice / game checklist you have them do?

Sorry if this was posted already but I did not see it.
I think its great that he did this and I know his players will appreciate it. I sure hope they don't find out that one of the coaches DID say that about his QB. I also wish he did not say he hopes one day her (the reporter) will have a kid who gets made fun of. I think it would have been better if he said he hopes she never has to go through that...but I know the point he was making was that one day she will realize what a B&%#h she was...

I loved Mouse Davis's Run and Shoot series. After watching those 4 videos I was ready to run it! But I never did...
Speckman had a great series on the Fly that allowed use it. His videos on the Run / Play pass/drills were very well done.
I thought the McNally / Munoz series on O.Line was awesome

How many is several? We had one new team who had 12 kids transfer in one year. Pretty sketchy. Why are they transferring. If they are going for just football then recruiting becomes a very possible allegation. Would you be happy if your kids transferred to another school !??!?!

We just got a Tred Sled (used) and we don't have the manual (if it comes with one). I have seen the videos on Rogers and have emailed them for a copy of it.
But does anyone have any tips? Programs for it? Suggestions, ideas etc??? Anything would be appreciated!

They looked easy to handle for the QB. They came at the same speed, tumbled just a bit. But pretty much a quick ball with no rotation sprial or end over end.
I wonder if its easier to handle. I know some teams like option pitches, shovels, and of course tosses to have no spiral or little tumble...so I guess it makes sense...
