i dont thinnk anybody said wether it was rt or wrong
he was asking about if there were any stadiums that didn;t play music in pre game how would that sound both playing together
like i said i heard denison do it a few years ago and their sound system was louder then the stadiums (denton isd) and henesay did it at the state championship this year and it was louder on the field then picken stadiums was (osu)

thats what i mean take it with us when we go on the road, just blast it louder then the home team.
when denison played aldeo 2 years agp in denton, they brought their own mobile miny dj booth and it was louder then the stadiums. Muskogee used too
And this year at the state champiosnhip henesasy (sp) system was louder then Boon Pickens Stadium system, or at least it was turned up louder.
When we r at home in practice or games is when we just use the pa

we just used the staduims pa system. u basicall could hear our music all over town, our practice field is rt beside our gamae field...
This year we r looking into getting some small peavy (sp) speakers and sound base to take with us on the road to listen during warm-ups instead of just in the locker room
Ive seen Muskogee, Henneasay, and Denison tx do this

as far as htting, once season starts only tuesday is a real physical day, wednesday is physical but pro-pad look, nothing to the ground...and this will sound crazy but sometimes if practice was dragging or a kid said he wanted someone, we let'm get it on till the whistle blew, anything goes 'cept no groin punches, and no twisting, just straight up come out of the stance and hit each other and beat the crap out of one another. Made us a lot freaking tougher and brought the team closer together. Every team in the district said we were the most physical team they played or had seen in a long time. And this was after coming off a 2-28 stretch!! to 9-3 this year!

coachpla, we did that too this year, cranked ac/dc ,megadeth, and metalicca all the time, even in our first scrimmage till the other coaches said their kids couldn;t hear the checks or they couldnt coach their kids on how to align, we never had the problem all year and i diffently think it was because we were used to it, the loud noise, so we didn;t get distracted...
on kinda the saem note, all our pregame warmup music was Johnny Cash's 16 greatest Hits!
you should see the looks of the opponents during warmup

u might be a football coach if you are driving around and comment to your wife that all the women we have seen jogging have terrible running form and really need to get their elbows in, and she stares and says "I don't care, now where is the resturant we r eating at"
true story ,happened today

smu92, i thought union ran a 4-3?
every class championed zoned blocked everything, inside/outside, ctr trey, a little trap, some used a wham back some not, even if they did throw a lot during the season they ran it down peoples throat in the playoffs
def seemed to be even fronts with odd/zone blitz on passing downs
bottom line was every state champ in oklahoma played tough azz defense and controled the clock by running it and taking shots off of playaction with a few screens

no ten years was for RIDDELL only helmets (7 junior high level), all the other manufacturors (sp) said as long as it passed it was good to go... the new rule is that no nocsae certified place will recertify a helmet over 10 years old , also it was only "recommended" that you recertified every 2 years, but of course your tit would be in a big time ringer if a kid got hurt in uncertified helmet, now as i understand it they will be required to be recertified Every 2 years. If you buy 5-7 helmets a year and a couple jh helmets you should always be ok.
with that said i without telling you the brand , we had a helmet crack , actually bust open rt begind the left side ear area on a kickoff, on film it looked like the kid was barely hit, helmet was 4 years old maybe 3 and had been recertified this past spring
