Right now we are having them look for Formation, Down and distance, and hit chart (strength/weak... field/boundary). Anything else?

I think that you have to adjust to the personnel you have. You don't have to throw the spread stuff away, but use the stuff you can be successful with, and put in some formations plays that can help those guys use what they have. Heck, since they ran the wing-t, use some of those plays. Also use shifts and motions to your advantage.

We have a problem with our D getting a good look from our scout O. We have all the plays drawn up for the players to see, and we still cannot get a good look out of them. I think it puts us at a disadvantage.

Get your players ready for the season. How many Wing-T teams are ya'll facing this year? If you will be facing another team, work on the Wing-T stuff. If not, focus on teaching assignments.

Even though you only pass 3 times a game, don't you think the practice will help? Do you complete every pass?

1. How much time do you spend weekly on individual, group, and team? We do Major and Minor Major Individual- 30 min Group-10 Team-10 Minor Individual-10 min (all scheme and technique, no drills) Group 10 Team-10
2. How much time is spent on 3rd down passing situations? Not as much now. More as we start game planning.
3. Do you script out the week Bill Walsh style or day by day? Not sure what he does, so I don't know.
4. How many plays do you run during a 10 minute team segment? 15.
