Coaches,
I am in the market for some new coaching shoes. Which ones are the best for the money. If they have good arch support, that would be a bonus. Also, if they are easy to clean (red clay of North Carolina...)
Thanks for your advice.

We have the New Balance 690 coaching shoes. They are black leather and clean up easy and seem to be very durable. I've been wearing them a year and they're still in great shape. They're comfortable and your feet stay pretty dry when you go out for those morning workouts when there's still dew on the field. As far as support I put insoles in all my shoes anyway so I can't really answer that.

Brooks. Those are the most comfortable ones ever. We all get The Beast by Brooks.

I have a pair of Nike Shox but I cannot remember which model. They are comfortable and pretty durable. I used to buy Nike Air Max shoes until about the 3rd time I blew out the air packets. I am not a heavy guy (220#) but I guess I just beat them to death. I also keep a pair of molded cleats in my locker if I need to run scout QB...we are a small school.

I either get Nike Shox, or the Nike baseball training/coaching shoe...buy a new pair every year.

I used to have a pair of addidas falcons that were excellent. They're pretty nasty now (they're four years old), but I still wear them around my yard and to take walks in. I got some addidas baseball coaching type shoes last year that have the little flap over the laces and they were horrible. Hurt my feet terribly. Would recomend the falcons though.

I think for bigger guys the falcons are not ideal. I would however, rate any Asics running shoe very high.

I always get the Nike turf trainer shoes....or Nike shox (the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.)
