brophy said it all.
If you put Vick or VY in a zone system i.e., the broncos or a heavy play-action system see the falcons under Mike Vick and even look at Eli lately they can succeed.
Are they Peyton or Brady, no but they cna be successful.
And to me successful means getting your team in the playoffs and bonus games.
How good was Leinhart again this year?

I'm sorry VY and MV are very good players on the NFL level.
I do agree Chow shouldn't have ever been hired because of the choice to draft VY and plus Tenn. does have horrible WR's.
Leinhart hasn't put the world on fire either.
systems make QB's and QB's fit in systems, fine the right one for you or find a new job, point blank.

He was in the booth this year, as a varisty coach. He does know all the postions and coach Freshman fine, He would be good at teaching the boys the fundamentals and he could take on the responbility. Our 9th grade problem has 5 coaches.
Winning is secondary to us on the 9th grade level, fundamentals 1st.

if you had a coach this is his second year coaching, but he is very smart and hungry football coach, but he is still learning on the job, i.e, wants to sometimes over do things. He has dreams and hopes of one day being a Coordinator and HC.
And you had to spots available where you place him, Last year he was your Varisty OLB Coach and JV Defensive Coordinator.
His 1st love is Offensive, you have 2 spots available this year, with him in mind, do you place him at Varisty RB's Coach or 9th Grade Head Coach?

In GA Varisty Assistants start off at around 3500 hundred for no exprience. HC start off at 7500 with NO expreince. Most booster clubs add more to the salary. At one school here the assitants make 15000 a year and that was not a misprint.

In South GA, like everywhere else the home is a ghost town, you better find where the high school is playing, in Metro Atlanta, we get great coverage on Saturday mornings, all but one county who gets it every day of the week.

To me Spring Practice is a chance to teach the basics and try new things.
We go Blue & White at the school I'm at, basically break them into 2 teams and when one is on offense the other is on defense.

Coach we do things, like names on the back of jerseys, who gets to pick numbers first and at the extreme only play with the 11 that will show up to work out

Take back those bad calls, and the score is probaly 21-all in the 4th quarter.

A few!!!?!?
1) Not Pass Interfence by Jackson
2) Big Ben did not score (I want to go back to old school football where you need to touch the ball down in the end zone)
3) Bad Call on Hasselback on the below the waist block
4)Not holding on the Stevens catch on the one.
Now I'm not saying that the Seahawks would have won the game. But the refs clearly had Terrible Towels in their pocket and were showing them to us at the right times during the game.
