Lineup looks good. The split back veer and they are talking the passing game.

would the clinic still be in the gainesville area? If you need help, I know some good locations around Atlanta, which is 45-60 minutes away.

We currently only allow our QB to flip plays, not to check to another play. It's not him we are worried about but the other players.

It all depends as said. I would love to platoon but I wouldn't. My best 15 are going to play the most hands down, unless there backup is as good as better as the 1st starter is tired, if not. Then your going both ways. As my old coach would say you can rest on Saturdays

I heard from over 2 coaches who have numerous state championships you take your best 15 players get them on the field starting out 2 of 3, offense, defense, special teams and then you fill in the blanks.

Yes if I could platoon I would, but this high school and if I got a beast that can go both ways, he is going both ways.

use to be a 1.5 multiplier for private schools that played in the GHSA and starting next year they can play in their regular class. Yes tog this can get very heated.

I agree with Huey, teams that play a 2 shell defense and mix up coverages well, if you team throws the ball more than 10 times a game and overall team speed that has everyone rally to the ball, that screws us up more than teams reading there keys.

As a wing-t coach, I have seen teams with small schools run the Double Wing - Wing-T version. Using the regular splits and regular FB depth.
I say coach go with what you are familar with option or DW.
To me I would want something, I could win a couple of games to boost moral and stay close. So whatever you put in this season you cna build off of it next season.
To me you could easily blend Midline and Veer with a couple of DW plays like the Power Toss. That's what I would do.

"Anyone who uses performance enhancement drugs should be kicked out of the league!"
No he didn't use drugs like Merriman, but he also never went to class and admitted to letting people do his work in college, so he's not a saint either.

we do it coach. 1 week, no pads, put them through drills. Teach them 3 plays. For us sweep, trap and waggle. Basically have fun let them meet the coaches and have a feel for the program also gives you a chance to get a feel for them.
