we are not a "zone" team. but we run the fly and our track blocking is similar to OZ LT-180 LG-185 C-165 RG=260 RT=170
Take that RG out of there and average is about 175

We're not a zone team. We're a power team that runs zone. Our OL (3A varsity)"

Smaller School in Ohio that went 8-2 LT: 6'1'' 220 (SOPH) LG: 5'11'' 230 (SOPH) C: 5'7'' 180 (JR) -- Got Tested and did well RG: 5'10'' 285 (SR) RT: 6'3'' 235 (SR)
I would grade our Offensive Line as an outstanding Pass Protection Team and an average run blocking unit. But, what can make an average offensive line look outstanding is good Tailbacks. And we had in our backfield...
QB: 6'3'' 210 (SR) - Runs like a horse RB: 5'10'' 195 (SR) - Runs very hard with some breakaway speed RB: 6'2 200 (JR) - Runs even harder but doesn't cut RB: 5'9'' 155 (JR) - Shifty, perfect for finding creases in zone blocking.
We had tons of success with Inside Zone Read Outside Zone Read Jet Sweep Counter Gap (16/17) off of Jet Motion 26/27 Counter
We ran those 5 plays and ran all over people. If you run the air raid that's basically all you need out of the running game.

To start another discussion on this thread. What are your philosophies on where to put your size. Do you want you size in at the guard postion or out on the edge at your tackles. I've heard both. Thanks
