Win the field position. don't be scared to quick kick rather than run a null play on third down.

If you want real hoover footage, I have the Hoover vs JT Curtis game on DVD. If you want it send me a tradelist to theyashin03@yahoo.com or PM me on here. It was the first game of the year and Curtis won, but hoover's offense still wasn't bad. If you have nothing to trade for $3, (to cover shipping costs) I'll send it to you. PM me and we'll work it out. I don't like charging for stuff, but I've sent enough free stuff out and it adds up after a while so I figure for basic DVD, bubble mailer and postage $3 is fair.

Because CEO of fortune 500 companies just doesn't pay the bills anymore... Actually, I was about 35 minutes into basic training and realized that my life needed to revolve around football and I wasn't going to make it to the show, so I needed to beomce a coach. i get out of the military in may and get a chance to start myself down that path

uh oh, you didn't ask what the super power was did you. The double wing gurus are going to turn this into a super power clinic now. Super power is one of the base plays out of the double wing. you toss it off tackle while pulling back side G and T and QB leads up. Basicaly student body right.

I'm pretty sure that they have something that pops those plastic clips off making it easy to remove the facemask. But the helmet keeps the neck supported, you never remove that.

Is there even a best team in the country this year? If you put a 8 team bracket together and played it out 8 times I bet you get 5 different winners. There isn't a team that I watch and say, wow this team is just dominant. Its not like a 2001 Miami team or the USC teams of the past 4 years where they could run it up on teams. Just a whole lot of parody this year.

I have one of those last names that doesn't ever get pronounced right or flow with anything so I let the kids shorten it up. I don't mind if they just use the shortened version without putting coach in front of it. I prefer not to be called by my first name though. When I address the kids i use whatever is easier to get the point across. Usually there are more than one Kevin or John on a team so one gets the last name one gets the first name or a nick name. when I address the team as a whole I usually use "men" because I had a coach that always called us by men and I liked how it sounded.

I think he got fired becuase his offense doesn't fit Vince Young. they drafted Young when Chow wanted Leinart. from and X and O's standpoint Chow has a drop back system and VY isn't a dropback QB so square peg, round hole.

Can it be done? We did it with 4 coaches last year. Varsity had 2 coaches, JV had 2 coaches. Really only 3 of us knew a whole lot of football. the other guy was an EMT who served as our trainer.

In basic training we had to carry a canteen around with us the whole time and on the hot days we were forced to drink it and tip it over above our heads to prove it was empty, Just an idea.

I enjoy watching college football more than pros. I'll still watch pros anytime its on, but college games mean so much more than pro games because the steelers were the last seed in the playoffs and still won it al. No playoff actually makes college football more exciting week to week. One thing on the pro football though, did you see that reverse that the jets ran in the preseason with brad smith scoring the TD? Did you see the block that Ferguson laid 30 yards downfield? Thats hustle for a Offensive tackle to get that far down field to really lay a block, it was a thing of beauty.

Right now I like the significants of every game. If you lose, you very well may be done. But I like a 4 team playoff. That way only the 4 most deserving teams make it. 8 would be ideal because then all of those bubble teams or the arkansas that get hot at the end of the year have a shot at making it, but right now I'd settle for 4. the NCAA makes so much money that they don't want to give a dime of it up. Speaking of the money aspect anyone see the interview with Keith Jackson at halftime of the ND army game where he talked about how all the promos they had to do during a game is a huge factor of why he isn't announcing anymore. He wanted to tell stoires but he had to spend all that time doing promos for the network.

Sometimes I think we do some of this stuff, but say, I don't care if they know its coming. I know as a JV coach we never got scouted so a lot of the time I'd say, i don't care if they know our tendancies, its going to take them until the 4th quarter to figure them out and by then we better have enough lead that its not going to matter. Maybe not the right way to do it, but with the practice time we had, it was something we had to sacrifice.

The Miami 4-3 and it's !@#$@!$ Mike Linebacker...... In my experience, it is an execution offense. Sometimes it gets old asking your kids to execute when they are weaker. Not trying to take this back to a thread from a month ago, but isn't every offense an execution offense? I don't think there is an offense that you don't have to execute to be successful. I'm not sure any offense has more room for error than any other. In every play you run, it only takes one guy to blow an assignment to go from Touchdown to turnover or big loss.
