For road trips that are a few hours out, some schools will offer it up to sweeten the deal when we are negotiating game details. I never ask for it but have had a few teams offer it up. Also have had some teams offer up lodging when the game was a super long trek across the state.

Not sure I would like the back-to-back as a coach if I had to coach in both. I get pissed at the JV game, that probably is carrying over. Especially if refs do both games and are horrible.

How about asking if there is anything the school might want. Does the school have a trophy case or hall of fame? If they don't, this could be a great way to start a trophy case!

You may also want to check with local restaurants, maybe some other businesses too. I know some will display jerseys.

He tweeted Saturday he was in the process of adding text, but no videos, back to his site. (He later told another use he'd add high school video, but would hold off on any college video)
As of 2:28 on Sunday, he said the site was back up.
As of 5:49 this morning (Monday) he told another user "It's done. I received another legal threat over the weekend. Not worth my time & effort."
He later told another user who was thanking him for his work " [...] I did everything I could, but it's obvious the legal issues and harassment won't stop."
He followed that up by telling another user that the new legal threat was from a second school. So at a minimum, Auburn and one other school had beef with his website.

To me, do a flag game, but incorporate it with something else. So, if you are having a field day for homecoming week, maybe it could be paired with the event and done the same day. That way, you will already have a big turnout (hopefully) for your event. Could maybe charge a couple extra bucks for the day's game.

In Florida, first non-contact practice is Monday, Apr. 27 and first contact practice is Saturday, May 2. The dates are already locked into my phone!!

Yes, division winners should get top seeds.
You could also do 3 points for any win or something instead of doing "quality" wins. That leaves so much room for hell to break loose if you do quality wins.
When you say top two in semis, do you mean top 2 of 18 or top two of division? If they are from the same division, that's how most states' playoffs work.

At my school, the school's finance office handles everything from the school money to the athletic money. They handle it all. If we need to order something, the HC orders it and sends the invoice to the finance office who has somebody specifically pay the bill.
If it's money from kids for like spirit pack or whatever, they write the check out to the school and write in the memo for whatever it is (most likely spirit pack in our case). They will give the checks to the HC who will then take all at one time to the finance office and say here is the money for football spirit packs.

To me, it's great for the schools.
Per the original announcement, each school would get a $12,500 "rights fee" or a $25,000 in merchandise or a "prorated combination" of the two. AND free travel expenses for up to 75 people.

In South Florida, I can only think of one team like that and they don't sponsor football, but in other sports - they are pretty bad. It's pretty common for them to be mercy ruled in their soccer matches. And, if not mercy ruled, it's either pretty close or a shutout.
Basically, if you lose to them, you know you are pretty bad yourself.

Greetings coaches!I'm currently a high school senior and recently wrapped up my first season as an assistant coach (co-offensive coordinator) at the middle school level, well at any level for that matter. I have experience in setting up game schedules and ran parts of practice as well.
I'm looking to learn as much as I can and stock up on materials (templates/suggestions/ideas/things that worked and didn't work with other coaches) that I can one day use when I hopefully am running my own program!
