Last year I was blessed to coach at Edgewater HS in Orlando ,fl. On average our o-line was 6-4 275. all but the center got D1 offers. One was Mike brewster (starting center for OSU, was our guard) That kid was one of the most hard working, meanest somabitch I have ever seen, when on the field, But nicest guy off. His work ethic was nothing like I had ever seen, he even enrolled early. He would push the rest of the team to work harder, longer and tougher every practice. It was a great joy to coach him.

Now the coach has been fired because he refused to apologize. The school said that it wasnt chirst like what he did. Now arent they being a little bit hypocriticle?

I'm not trying to downplay their success but here is the secret: get 12 sub 4.4 40 players on your team. Florida has always had a fast team. Even in the Spurrier days. Along with most of the SEC. Its just the stuff we put in the water down here in Florida. Big state secret, I might be shot for even mentioning it.

Not sure they have fully released the dates for this year yet. Also just so you know here in Florida we don't measure in distance its all about how long it takes you to get somewhere. I live in Orlando and it should take you about hour and a half to get there. ;D

This is our rival school and there is more to the situation than is listed in the player. South Carolina never should have offered JD a scholly if they weren't going to be patent enough to wait on a few things some on there end and some on his. So give us the inside scoop, Whats going on?

But isnt signing day only the first day that kids can sign not the last? why should that have any effect on the importance of this situation?

I didnt say that. I said that I agreed with him that kids pull their commitments from schools all the time. The thing with Miami was just another example of a HS coach not allowing a school to recruit his kids.
Also how come nothing was said last year when Florida (I think) pulled a schollie from a O-lineman becuse he took to long to make up his mind? By the time he made up his mind they had already moved on and filled their limit of OL.

jgordan I agree with you kids pull their commitments all the time. another example of this kind of thing is the whole robert marve situation. After he decided to transfer and UM gave him a bunch of stipulations the coach over at his old school Tampa Plant (FL) said he will not allow UM to recruit one of his kids. Plant is considered one of the powerhouse schools here in florida, QB after marve Aaron Murray is going to Georgia.

really? in a few months? I did it just this past weekend. Man I love Florida. In all seriousness it depends on if im watching it with a bunch of friends or just family. If its friends I like to make a varity like, hot, mild, teriaki (sp?) honey BBQ. Also different kinds of chips with dip. If family well just throw some steaks on the grill and whatever else were in the mood for.

UGA practiced at my school this past week, so im gonna be a little biased and say they will win. Bama will handle utah easily, and as a fan of Florida im going with them also. As for Vandy and SC I also think their going to lose. The Ole Miss/ TT game should be interesting.
