A ton of nfl players and coaches are on a first name basis.
I guess that stuff happens when it’s a literal job- and the players often make more than the coach

Have an O and a D day but have time for 20 plays of team at the end of that for the other side of the ball
I feel like our younger guys don’t get enough reps if we’re splitting it. Which I know it’s the same practice time but you’re trying to give every rep in those hours to the guys playing

Just had a kid get his first FBS offers. It’ll be year 9 and that’s my first kid with that offer. RB. I don’t think he’s the best RB I’ve coached or the best pure RB on our team at the moment either.

Game One
We’re always running into stock issues which may be a nationwide thing I’m not sure
But my AD didn’t process an order for track uniforms in time and it forced me to have to change the color because they ran out of a size.. in white

If anyone has used both, I'd be curious to know how it compares to Joe Daniel's Pistol Power Offense. No comparison. Like I and others have said before- you could give the resources in the TFS to any schmuck and give them the tools to learn how to coach things how you want. The pass pro and screen technique is worth the price alone I would say

A Merry Liftmas themed workout is something I’ve seen. Dress up in ugly Christmas attire. Can max out or even just do an arm blaster. Play Christmas music (they have trap and metal remixes)

For what it is, I don’t think anyone does the “system in a box” better than Tony. Years worth of information, practice formats, cut ups, etc.
In the end it isn’t a “run these plays and you’ll win”- the best part of it is the practice structure and a common terminology that you can mold into what fits your talent.
Was part of a staff that were members. 2 years later we had evolved it and were using the terminology and what not and were a more 20/21 personnel pro style spread- but the practice structure and the common language set us up for success.
If you expect to watch a series of videos on just the plays and win then it’s not that.
By the end of it he wasn’t even Air Raid- but it was so deep in terms of what he had done in the past you could mold it to whatever you wanted.

I’ll coach my son after we have practices when/if that time comes he wants to play. Today he’s almost 3 years old and could shoot in his little tykes hoop all day. Hand him a football and he’ll dunk it.
I will coach him to ensure he’s got trustworthy coaching and what not. Unless there’s someone I trust to do it more.

Month of June we go 9-11:30 MWF
Kentucky has the two week dead period, we give them an extra week on that.
If we went anymore then that our basketball kids would die. They’ll have played like 60 games this month for summer ball.

Both HS HCs I’ve worked for have been great and one MS one was too
The MS HC let me call plays when I was 20 and really kinda let me just do my own thing with the 7th grade team while he ran the 8th. Still the most fun I’ve had in a year coaching.
The first HS HC I worked for is the best football coach in the area I live in IMO. Hired me and gave me a chance and he wouldn’t necessarily just sit and try to teach me football but just being around him plus my own study habits gave me my X and Os foundation. Best thing he let me do was basically install the defense during a week where I’m pretty sure he had Covid before it was Covid and coached practice from the press box. Big confidence booster. He’s the best defensive practice coach in the state and we were always so prepared.
The guy I work for now is not necessarily as good of an X&O guy as that guy (still good) was but he’s so organized and is a really good teacher. Only worked with him for a year but I really enjoy it. It’s my dream school so that helps but it’s fun.

I know you said excluding weight room but make sure you lift in season.
It doesn’t matter what program you run, you just have to do it year round. Too many people lift January to June and stop when it’s football time and wonder why their gains aren’t as much or think it’s the programs fault.
Everyone of our kids (who didn’t have an injury that is) this year either got stronger or maintained numbers in the season. Made a huge difference for them this offseason.

It can be done I’m sure. Have a prize for the winner and sell concessions.
Depending on how many people you will need multiple TVs and consoles.
Some business may sponsor it- maybe get them to pay for a trophy or give a gift card or something as the prize.
Doubt you’ll make big $ but you can make $ without spending any.

An end zone camera that works well, and crowther sleds
OR
A scoreboard with a Jumbotron (I have no idea how much this costs but 10K to it would help surely)- we’d make a killing selling ads

We do a film session before our offensive and defensive practice. Tuesday is D day so D film, Wednesday is O Day so O film.
I do our offensive film. I put together a presentation on Google Slides and upload it to Hudl. It includes details on their overall scheme, personnel, and how they have lined up to our formations. Then for film I add about 15-20 clips of good and bad of them vs stuff similar to what we do.
Takes 10 minutes. Then we hit the field and are rolling.
I leave it uploaded to Hudl for the kids to go and look on their own. It doesn’t take much work as it’s just copy and pasting from my own personal scout/gameplan usually. If it helps one kid it’s worth it. It helps me stay organized anyways.

I wear the black leather new balance dad shoes when it’s wet outside. Feet stay dry.
We’re getting some pair of adidas bought for us for game shoes this year. I’ll wear them if it’s nice out but if there’s a chance it gets wet I’m rocking something older because the shoes are going to be white.

7v7 is so valuable for your defense if you use it properly.. Being able to see so many reps in coverage is so beneficial idc if you never throw the ball your defense needs it.
For people who say “how’s it beneficial if you know the other team has to throw it you don’t have to take your read steps blah blah” on friggin Third & 12+ you know a team is going to sling it- or if you’re up 2 scores in the late fourth you know they’re going to throw it.
Our DBs improved drastically from Friday to Saturday. Friday I was pulling my hair out. Saturday things were much better. Not perfect but better.
Also contrarian offenses have passing games too, usually. You can run waggle.

Our QB in 2019 and 2020 was probably the best trash talker I’ve been around. Never was penalized
Best thing he did was after the covid break he told a defensive lineman on our rival team (their best one, we couldn’t hardly block him the year prior) that he had gotten really fat and the kid slammed his helmet in the ground and got a flag thrown on him and chewed out by their staff and he was a non factor all night after that.
