I hate that we have to start practice an 1 1/2 after school because our kids have to go to "tutorial". I understand that it is important that the kids stay eligible but most of them are socializing somewhere. It would also help if kids did there work during class instead of having the crutch of waiting to do it during tutorials.

I hate Team O when that is all that we seem to do during practice. I am currently an OC/OL coach, but I have worked with guys in the past that would spend 45+ minutes just running random plays from their call sheet. None of these guys lasted very long as we were not very good offensively. Never really understood how/why the rest of us on the staff got paid to just stand around and send in subs.

Specials. Not because I don't understand the importance, but because I feel our coordiantor is not really organized. We don't really lay out or work group periods well, esepecially on kick off and kick off return. It's just team reps. Our specials guy doesn't take our help well which makes it frustrating and like banging your head against the wall...then we finish with 10 minute speech about something that happened in 1987.
Luckily this year we mostly used a short punt which helped made a few subs only and we kicked it out of bounds a lot. Saved some headaches.
Don't even get me started on the disaster that we can be on Friday nights here. I hope this year we can get the head guy to get some changes on specials.
