I know guys on this board love to fear the visor wearers with the facemelter but I now have a great fear of the guy who clips his call sheet to his belt loop! At least half the oc's we've played this year do this and they're all the young, hip, facemelting types

I clip the call sheet to my belt (and have been doing so for nearly a decade), and am no longer what you would call young or on offense. Though I rarely use it, its easier than putting it in my mouth or pocket.
Also, when I was an assistant DC and had to write down 10 things each play, and keep it handy it was very helpful.

We had a backup DL coach with delusions of grandeur find a game plan once and do this, checking it periodically throughout the game for best effect. It wasn't our gameplan, it was an offensive gameplan for the team with whom we shared a stadium.

I'm going to clip my call sheet to the back of my visor.... BOOM!!!
You can only do that if your run the Face-Melter 2.0

Hoodie weather now means I have a perfect place to hold the script. Call me coach marsupial.
Otherwise, I tuck it into the waistband.

I just wear a wristband. I don't like holding onto anything and I don't want to clip something onto my belt.

Never seen an offensive coach with his hat on backwards.
Of course most of them are wearing visors.
Point is if you see a coach with his hat on backwards, he's a defensive guy. Probably has a beard to cover up the tobacco juice too.

And I clip my call sheet to my pants. Used to stuff it in my pants but clipping it is just easier. If convenience is douchey then iḿ douchey.
And visors are dumb....get a real hat

Our DL coach is just a yeller for the sake of yelling. He likes to make real long drawn out speeches too before, during AND after all games. He kept the JV DL for about 15 extra minutes last night after our final game while the rest of the team cleaned up the field.

Geez, I guess I am th worst guy in the world, I used to always wear my visor backwards (at least when I was at a school that had visors). I have never found a hat that fits my head right (they make me look like I am 12), but visors fit fine. I turn it backwards because yeah I like how it looks but also cause I hate getting sunburn on my neck. Mix in that and the fact that I like my plays readily available on my waist and I am public enemy #1.
I guess my saving grace is being clean shaven and coaching defense.

Although I'm originally from northeast PA, 39 years in Virginia have turned me into a weather wuss. My comfort is too important to me to try and trick people into thinking that I'm a tough guy.
