Last year I went to the Glazier Clinic in Grand Rapids, MI I have since switched schools...went from Assistant Varsity Coach to Volunteer Freshman Coach....(but not for long...I hope) Might go to Grand Rapids again. If not there, then Minneapolis or Chicago....maybe Detroit, but I doubt it. I'd really like to make 2...but I don't see that happening!! www.glazierclinics.com/coaching_clinics/cities_and_datesJVD

I would love to be able to go to the Glaizer clinic and/or the Nike Football clinic in Atlanta. I have not been able to go to one so far because of other obligations in the spring but this year I am going to plan around the clinic dates.

Already booked, paid for, and a done deal for the wife and I to attend the AFCA in Nashville, TN... pvogel is trying to get me to put together the money to come stay with him for the Tampa Glazier though... don't know if I can afford 2 cross-country trips in one clinic season... we'll see.

Pony up son! Taking the Mrs on one so you gotta fly solo for the other! Can't beat Tampa in March. Cigars on me. I got a guy. I'll definitely be at Glaziers in Tampa, Orlando, and Northern New Jersey. May add more, with Atlanta being the best possibility. Would love meeting up and shooting the bull with any of yall.

Got a chance to watch South Florida and Taggert recently. Love what they are doing as well.

Looking pretty hard for the college spring clinics but so far all I've found is Ohio state's. Anyone know of others or where to find that info?

Minneapolis Glazier & NDSU for sure. NDSU does a great job. They treat high school coaches very well & the beer, brats, & pork sandwiches never seem to run out at the coaches' social. Decent price as well.
Considering the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association clinic. I've heard they have top notch local speakers & it falls on a weekend (March 23-25) that I don't anticipate any conflicts.

I expect to be at Detroit and Grand Rapids, and we'll see if FCCA/CFC/Football Canada run something outside of the centre of the universe for once.

jmlAlways down to go out for dinner and drinks. We are attending the Hall of Fame banquet this year as the HC I played for is being inducted this year, as well as the one we went to last year. I haven't checked with Salazar about whether he is coming with his wife, stag, or not at all, but I'll get ahold of him and let him know you are looking to go as well. If he needs a roommate I'm sure he'll be cool with a similar arrangement as last year. I'll be there Saturday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon.

Glazier is always a decent Clinic to go to. Seems like it was better back in the day though.
Really like Nike coaches clinics. Seems to be less people and more hands on type teaching.
Pick two colleges to go to as well and see what changes they have made.

I'm a Yooper (Western...3 miles from WI) so basically everything in Wisconsin is closer than anything in downstate Michigan. JVD
