Congrats to my high school head coach George Quarles for being named head coach of the east squad.

The great thing about coaching college ball is the parents...you don't have to deal with them. The second greatest thing about college ball is the parents...you don't have to deal with them. That is not entirely true. When you give a recruit your cell number their entire family takes up your school's anytime minutes. Especially in January!

Thanks for all the input guys. I got off the bus from a 9 hour road trip last night and have been doing film ever since. It is great! I remember coaching high school and having a weekend, which was awesome, but so is this. I have been in 6 states in 4 weeks and spent a total of two days combined on a bus, but we threw for 500 yards yesterday and won so I am in a great mood with a gallon of Red Bull in me! Look for us Thursday night on FSN south or CBS college sports. Play at 8 est.
Keep it coming guys I need all the help I can get for this decision.

So I am looking for some advice.. I am currently at a D2 school after five years of high school coaching. I absolutely love coaching college football! The recruiting I have got to do has made me love this level even more. I am toiling with the next move however. There will be a high school head job opening up this off season near my hometown and I believe I have a really good shot at it. This would have been a dream two years ago and still kind of is, but I also have the possibility of making a move to a DI or Iaa GA position. I am young and torn with this decision that will have to be made before you know it. I am fairly certain that the decision I make now will keep me in that path for several years to come. Money isn't an issue to me. I will sleep on a cot at the Y if I have to, just so I can coach this game. All input is appreciated.
