It was a zoo. This was my first ever Glazier so I'm not sure where they have been in the past. Being from the New England area I know for a fact that there are better places in and around Boston.

My only question would be... How many of those kids would be busy with baseball or lacrosse or other things if school is still in session?

No, but I can personally say that I love flag football as a way to get kids started in football. Our youth league has a flag program starting as young as 5 (kindergarten) and could go up through 2nd grade. My own son played 2 season in the flag program and thats how I got involved in coaching. So most of our team now (fourth graders) have been together for 2,3, or more years. Almost all of the successful tackle teams in our state have the flag programs.

We use a combination of Excel and PowerPoint for creating playbooks. I've been playing around with powerpoint a bit to diagram plays. What exactly are you using/doing in there to do so. I've gotten a little annoyed after spending and sometimes wasting time. Thanks

Coach Dan
OC & Assistant HC for a youth program in NH. Still a bit new to the coaching ranks, but have a great time doing it. I was the DC last season at saw our team go 7-2 overall with 4 shutouts running a 4-4 defense.
I have played at many different levels throughout my life from the youth levels, through HS, College (Plymouth ST with a degree in education), and several years in the NEFL and EFL semi-pro leagues.
This year I would like to implement the double wing offense. Our team is really talented and we have a great mix of big, agile lineman, and explosive backs. So if anyone has info on the double wing, I am all ears.
We are also looking to change the defense up a bit and run a gap 8 or some version of a 6-3. Again, any info would be helpful.
