I did a thread like this before and it was a lot of fun.
1. What is your coaching supplement? Is it a flat rate, or will it improve over time based on years of experience? Please indicate your title (i.e. HC, DC, etc.) 2. Does your booster club or school award extra money for things like district championships or playoff wins? 3. Do you get paid for being in the weight room over the summer? 4. Do you get any additional funds for things that are not listed above?
I'll start.
1. As a defensive coordinator, I make $3,000 for Fall and Spring practice. This is a flat rate. There are no steps. This is what all assistants in our county make, no matter how many years they have been coaching. 2. No 3. No 4. No

I think mine is somewhere in the neighborhood of $2-3K, no scale, no official title, and I can tell you that all assistants make the same, the big boss gets more, but not sure exactly how much 2. *Ahem* No (in my best Bill Belicheck voice) 3. Not at my current school, though at a previous stop my HC cut me a $400 check out of his personal pay for my work in the weightroom 4. See answer to #2

No 1. $3,042 pre-tax as our Defensive Coordinator, but on our salary schedule it's titled as "Assistant Varsity Football Coach" so I could make as much as a position coach. It improves based on years of experience, but I've already topped out. 2. No 3. I get an additional stipend as our Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, but it varies every year. I run that aspect year round. Last year I made $1,500. 4. No additional funds, but perks... free shoes, clothes, trips to clinics, etc.

I also get about 800 in the winter and 800 in the spring for running the weight room after school for any student who wants to work out. So, I guess I'm the off-season strength coach because most of the lifters are football and I make the lifting program.

1. Head Coach 5,200 prior to taxes this is the top of the steps, last school much larger was 7,600 2. Nope 3. Nope 4. Nope
I'm in Michigan every school is a little different it should be noted that as a educator the compensation is much better and every position but my current position I was hired in that capacity in part because I was going to be the Head Football Coach (I do take pride in being an educator as well). There was one stop that between my wife and I it was a 30K pay raise from the previous year when we changed schools. So even though the pay isn't necessarily always high due to the impact we were hired to make on the district the opportunity to make a significant income was due to our ability to coach football.

NC varies from district to district. My supplement as DC this year was $2785, there is a small increase each year. We get an allottment of $4000 to help pay coaches over the summer, usually get about $500 off of that. We also get 10% per week we are in the playoffs. HC supplement is about $4500, but he is also a 12 month employee.

i get 1800 for hc, i believe my assistants get 1200, i get another 1400 for summer weights, camp and off season on me, i am going to try to get some money for my assistants for camps this summer, if not i guess i will take them out to eat everyday or give them some cash out of my pocket, everything else is no on your questions, i was at a school that gave me 200 every year i was there for making it to the championship game, i think that was a gift not through the school, that was the same school that paid me by the hour for before, after, and summer weights, which i actually liked better than flat rate, i like schools that base it off a percentage of your teaching pay and coaching experience, i was close to what the head coach made as a assistant

Head Coach 4,200.00 Plus 11 month contract (This does count towards your retirement too) Assistants 3,300 (8 )
No booster funds
Weight Room Yes - My DC runs the weight room too.. 3 stipends through the year at I believe 1500 to 2000 per season.
No steps, flat fee for stipends...

I believe mine is around $3300 for varsity football assistant. For our set-up, we have the varsity HC getting a stipend, four paid varsity assistants making the figure I posted, and then two freshmen assistants making slightly less. I don't know the other amounts. It goes up slightly every year, because it's based on a prorated percentage of a first-year teachers salary.
My answer to the rest of the questions is no, but it's never bothered me because I've considered the stipend a year round amount for all the coaching work I do.

1 - 7000 and change, flat rate; asst coach with no titles. That is the supplement for certified employees. Those that are NOT certified or are called classified (non "teacher" positions) positions are payed based on an hourly figure; IE they clock in and out each day. I have no clue what they get each 'hour' here, but in a previous stop it was an absolute travesty what one guy made because of what his time card read. 2 - no booster club at this stop, so no BC funds; yet school district pays for each round of the playoffs. 11 game season = 1/11th of my stipend for each round of the playoffs we make (4th round is the finals for us); not bonus for championships, just the extra work. 3 - NO 4 - No funds for extras, though we get some district stuff for 'professional develop' IE coaches trips get a per diem, they pay for our association dues, they paid for our championship rings...... stuff like that. I would add that at this stop, I don't have to drive a bus, paint a field, cut grass, move any equipment, tape an ankle, etc..... district workers do all the heavy lifting; I'd pay half my supplement for that crap.
