It's 2015....... In June of this year, we'll celebrate a full decade of the most powerful tool known to humankind.
The landscape of football existing after the 2004 season (on the field, at the field house, in the job market) has changed by leaps and bounds. Truly it can all be attributed to this one site.
From A-11s, brain-numbing double wing, facemelting 42 Nickel, unstoppable Top Secret Air Raid, I know Joe Gibbs!, Thursday night Whiteboard Clinics, cover 0 vs everything, to HUDL I think we've all been changed by Coach Huey!!

With out a doubt this site has been the best resource to help my develop as a coach
I remember joining as an 18 year old idiot who knew nothing I've never had a real mentor to learn from and many of the guys on this board have helped be my digital mentor from afar
Seriously thanks to coach Huey and everyone who regularly contributes to this site

haha. Man, we have stories to tell over the years, no doubt. From facemelting to magic bullets to defenses that stop it all.
Good times, good times.
I'm honored to have been a part of it. Thank you ... and so many others ... for contributing not only to this site but to my development as a coach.
Best wishes for 2015 and beyond.

"If the dogger stabs, then kick the down and horn up to the next bubble."
I found Huey's site on a Google search in the fall of 2006, and I have had something to do at 2 am ever since.
Thank you Coach Huey.

Been here since day 1 and I've learned so much. Thank you to all the coaches who've talked football and not fantasy.

To Coach Huey, thank you. This site has helped me to become a better coach, in more ways than one. To the Huey community, thank you for everything you have done for this great game of football and the men who coach it. I am very proud to be part of this community.

Great service to the profession. Thank you, Coach Huey.
Feel like I've made a lot of friends by being here, and since I'm facing possibility of not coaching for first time in 41 years this Fall, the web site will be my way of staying involved-in touch.

I actually don't remember how I found the site, but I remember I was at Mt. Vernon, IL coaching when I did find it so that was the 2005-06 school year. Hard to believe it's been that long!

I honestly don't think I would be where I am now as a Head Coach or just a coach without the help of this site. I've been here since I first saw it on Jerry Campbell's old site. It's been such an awesome source of information.
Thanks Huey!

honest to god, coach huey and the internet have done more for football in these past ten years than in any other 20 year period IMO except for when maybe the forward pass was introduced...THX, because now I am more confused than ever...LOL...you know, the thing is is that years ago guys that struggled for info were the ones that succeeded, now it is not that much of a struggle..I digress...I am starting to sound like my grandpa and talking about the old days. strangely, I think next year I will be going back to the ways I used to do things in the mid 90's..funny how it all just comes right back around..like they say the wheel keeps on spinning and I have just finished one complete revolution....either that or I have dementia and can't think of anything else to do

Long time Youth Coach here. I found this Site about a month after launch. I like to dabble in different things so I am forever grateful to all of the upper level coaches on this Site that have taken the time to help me dumb things down and figure stuff out...even on the phone.
I also really enjoy the Blogs that some of the Members have maintained all these years.
Thank you !

Being isolated up here in Maine, this site has been my portal to so much information. I don't post a ton, but I remember taking in every post by Coach Coverdale (yspace) and his bunch pass concepts. I implemented those concepts and saw my offense take off. Later, I got all the information, diagrams, discourse, and criticism of IZ and IZ read that I could ever ask.
Even though I never met any of you coaches, I feel like I know you from your many conversations and comments on here. Oh, and Tog and I used to talk jet sweep all the time too!
Great stuff!

I don't know if I'm a good coach, but thanks to this place I'm certain I'm not a bad coach.
I've tried to explain this site to friends, girlfriends, etc and they just don't get why this place matters as much as it does.
Glad to have this opportunity, thanks to all those who have put time into it.

I don't know if I'm a good coach, but thanks to this place I'm certain I'm not a bad coach. Love this quote!! Part of being a great/good coach is identifying and eliminating the bad coaching or things you don't do well.

Love this forum. Found it about 8 years ago and read it religiously. Now that I use the proboards app through my phone, it's even easier to be addicted. I'm constantly checking the board for new threads and posts.
This site is such a great tool for every coach no matter what level. I've had coaches look at me funny when I say I picked up a great idea from a coaches message board. Those that aren't members just don't understand the value of this site.

Almost 8 years ago I stumbled onto this website while out of the game (my dumba$$ thought selling real estate would be better than coaching) and I was ready to get back to work.
Thanks for the convos and all the details...
The Xs and Os are easy...its the details that many of you have helped me clean up are what has helped me become a better coach.
Thank you...

Its easy to take for granted just how instrumental this site has been in all of our developments (personally, professionally, and academically).
What is interesting is how the site has withstood the pitfalls of the hundreds of other football sites out there to either sell out to sponsorship, turn into an echo chamber of 'veterans', become a sportsfan site, or just be a rinse and repeat 'send me that playbook, coach' threads...
I don't know how Huey and tog have been able to keep this site pure and fresh throughout the years to stay the course. That story would make a good 30 for 30 episode
