John Heisman- "Did you really need to win that game 222-0?"

Jim Harbaugh... loved him as a player, then at Stanford and the love grew once he became the coach of the 49ers. I'd want to hear why he decided to coach. It's not really an aspiration of many former NFL players.

Lou Holtz...he sounds hilarious when he's sober (at least I assume he is on ESPN) and is great in terms of philosophy or split back veer.
GA Moore...that Celina 10-1 is intriguing & I'm sure he'd be a lot more humble than that bum that was always talking about its "magic" on here a few years ago.
Probably Lombardi while watching a modern game just to hear what he thought about it.
dcohio, mariner42, Lochness, coachbdud, coacharnold & the rest of you guys...anyone headed to Grand Rapids, Detroit/Novi, Indianapolis or Chicago Glaziers?

My old buddy Tom "Hawke" Krempasky but I doubt that it'd be just one beer.
Otherwise, Curly Lambeau. I'd love to hear stories about the old days, especially about mavericks like Johnny Blood.

Mouse Davis, and I would ask him if he was a fan of the modern no huddle spread offense. Of course invite Glanville too!

Deceased, most likely Lombardi. Living ? That's a tough one. Part of me wants to pick a guy I could learn from, the other part of me wants to pick a young Ditka in hopes he'd get into a bar fight just so I could share the story

Also, not a coach but I can't imagine more fun that beers with Art Donovan. Those guys in the '50's and '60's really enjoyed playing the game.

Argyle ran it in the State game today, and it was impressive. I'd go with Tom Osbourne- How did you establish the mindset of Nebraska football?

I was born in Green Bay, grew up on Lombardi Packers, own a share of the team.
But I think the most interesting coach to have a drink with would be Bear Bryant (Bear was a Bourbon, not beer, man from what I heard).

Brett Favre. Why not pick set around his porch at his place and pick the guys brains about: -Playing HS football -Playing College football -Playing in the NFL -Coming home and coaching HS football
To me this would be a great opportunity to see how much of what he did in college and the NFL was he able to integrate into HS ball, and what worked and what didn't. Also, I gotta think the practice and preparation knowledge would be off the chart helpful.
Plus he just seems like he would be a pretty good guy to hang out with.

Living? Rex Ryan. Ever since Hard Knocks he's been a favorite of mine. Strong runner-up would be Jim Harbaugh, he's one of a kind and the 49ers are killing me with this whole deal about getting rid of him.
Dead... Joe Pa. Pretty conflicted saying that, but PSU/Linebacker U/Joe Pa was one of the first things that I fell in love with about football.

Living: John Gruden or John Jenkins. Gruden for the laughs, and Jenkins to learn from one of the craziest/best offensive minds.
Dead: bud wilkinson just for the fact that he was able to build a powerhouse at Oklahoma and it not get stagnant. I've read a couple of his books, but talking in person would be awesome.

I think the most interesting coach to have a drink with would be Bear Bryant (Bear was a Bourbon, not beer, man from what I heard).
As an aside, Coach Yeoman said he knew Coach Bryant very well, that he "wouldn't walk across the street to hear (Bear) talk football, " but that he'd "travel half way around the world to hear how he manipulated those young minds."
So I guess my first question would be about Motivation.

Not really sure, maybe Rob Ryan and Steve Spurrier but it would be almost purely for entertainment purposes
Future coach...Peyton Manning and just let him talk.
