Every staff needs the "extra guy" in the pressbox. He gets put up there so that nobody has to talk to him face to face on the sideline and we can just slide our headsets off when he starts talking, or in the case of the Head Coach can just flip over to defense.

Every staff needs:
The Tech Coach- as previously described
The Old Timer- the voice of reason when game planning/scheming. Can recognize a good idea and dismiss a bad one with more than a, "we tried it and it doesn't work"
The "5 year Old" Energy guy- not the temper tantrum part, but, the dude that never runs out of energy...ever
The OCD guy- doesn't let anything get glossed over. If your hand is supposed to touch the line on gassers, then he is making sure they touch. If CB's are supposed to be 8x1 off of the WR, then he is making sure they are 8x1 and not 7.9x1.1
The In-Your-Face coach- If the RB misses the A gap hit on power, but bounces it for a TD, he is in the RB's face about it. Must be a pr!ck. Can be the OCD guy too, but, he is never satisfied unless all players execute perfectly (and then probably still blames it on a crappy scout team/opponent.
The Laid back coach- guy who balances the "In-Your-Face" coach. The coach that goes and talks to the kid that just got reamed out for not reading the A gap hit. Build 'em back up, everything is going to be okay, etc.
The Right hand man- can be the old timer (if the old timer is not the HC). Serves as a sounding board for younger coaches to the HC/OC/DC. Can help the younger coaches learn how the HC operates. Also, makes sure that the vision of the HC is molded into how all of the other assistants operate. Always has the HC's back, but will tell the HC when he messes up behind closed doors.
