In QC at a charter school you can hope for 200-500. At a non-charter school, forget it.
In ON, keep dreaming.

Also in Washington, we recieved a raise this year, our assistants are around 4,000 a year now. We negotiated based on what assistants in our league were being paid, we're now at real close to the median salary.

In SC it varies wildly. Anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000. My district ranges from $3,700 to $6,000 based on experience.

Stipend... Cute.
I've been paid 3 times, this is year number 8. Got $500 for coaching frosh ball in OR, $1500 for being varsity DC in CA, $1800 for being varsity DC/Assc HC in CA. I don't think I'm getting paid this year.

in our district its a fixed percent. assistant coaches make 13% of the starting salary of a first year teacher. so if the starting salary for a new teacher is 47,000..... assistant coaches make around 6,100. in addition, you earn $100/year of longevity pay up to 15 years. i think i cleared about 6,700 last year after taxes.

In NC I get around 2500. Also, 10 percent per week in the playoffs and a small stipend for the summer. That's pretty high pay for assistants in NC as far as I can tell

you coaches that are above 1500 is that being just an asst coach or is that as a coordnator?
And Coach Waddles in WA what district are you in? I have a friend who is a DB coach in Tacoma area and he said the Asst coaches get 750 a season, They just got lowered this season.

I've been with 5 different schools in IL and Iowa. None of these schools have differentiated based on experience or coordinator duties; the stipend amounts were the same for all assistants. Pay ranged anywhere between $1800 and $3100, although I was a volunteer at my first job so I don't know what those stipends were.

I work at a med/smaller school in Ohio, 250 boys. Assistant coach pay is 3550 after 8 years (3 steps 0-4years, 4-8 and over 8)experience with a 25% add on for summer, about $4400 total and it has been that much for a long time. No difference for coach or coordinator.

as the MS HC (7th/8th/9th) in South Central Pennsylvania, I believe I'm at $3200, which is before taxes and pension are taken out.

I'm a building sub, and the OC at a small private Christian high school in Texas. Football stipend is 4800. Sub pay is minimal (70 per day). My stipend as an assistant coach here is more than what I made as a HC at my previous school (small Catholic school) in Ohio.

20 years ago I made $1,000 as an assistant in North Dakota. The last 19 years coaching in Canada I have amassed a lot of coaching clothes but have not been paid one cent.

In Illinois it really depends on if you are down state or Chicago suburbs. In my part of the state (downstate) I think it usually runs between $2000 and $2500. One of the guys I coach with has a friend that is an assistant sophomore baseball coach and he gets $10,000 just as an idea.

In our district assistant coaches get 11% of the coaches base salary (which is whatever the base teacher's salary was 12 or 15 years ago when it got negotiated into a separate base). Works out to about 3700 pre-deductions. We also get a longevity percent added on but that has been frozen for about 5 years. I think my football stipend is about 4000. I don't remember exactly and don't want to dig out the contract. Head coaches get a bigger percent. There aren't any distinctions among assistants stipends for coordinators etc. here (as far as I know not anywhere in Kansas).
