Since I started playing, I've always played on the line on either side of the ball. Although in High School, I was predominately on the Offensive Side. I made the switch to DL during my first year of JUCO ball.

I was a legacy - because my brothers played end and wore #81 it was my destiny to play end. Played linebacker throughout though I HATED tackling with my my helmet (old school, baby)

cool thread. I played Center every year of my 14 yr playing career except the very first, the last and my sophomore year in HS. Oh I forgot a short stint at TE for like 3 games in PeeWee

3-6th grade OL/DL (fat kid... had to wear a patch so I couldn't be in the backfield. I'll admit I had to drink a lot of water in 6th grade to make the "overweight limit") 7th-9th FB/LB-NT 10th- G/LB 11th FB/LB 12th- G-FB/LB Coll:... I was the long-snapper (did that since JH)...so that got me on the travel team. I played SS/OLB/ILB, then moved to FB junior year. Alumni game: played LB, dislocated my shoulder... realized I was too old for this...
Since coaching (2 years as asst. 14 years HC), I've worked with all positions... currently OL/LB (which is my preference)
