IMO this game is a joke. it is a way for the recruit niks to make money. tom lemming is a pimp in my opinon and so are the guys at scout.com.
recruiting is now entertainment. I am so glad I will never be selected to coach in this game.
I guess I should look at this as just a temporary thing. D1A football is on a unsistainable path, so things like this are just a cycle.

There is a good thing with this bowl. The Army is generally looking for these kids with these types of frames, good backgrounds and character to help serve for them. This bowl doesn't just recongize the national talent. My classmate was Eddie Jones #32 from the East Team. He was selected due to his excellent play on the field as well as his character outside. He saved a girl from making a huge mistake in quitting school. I don't like these types of star select games due to the restriction of the defense.

i see this game more as a venue that actually helps the big name programs get bigger. How many of those players were committing to smaller school like BFE State or mid- majors (other than Utah). Love seeing almost all 15 of florida's committs playing on national TV.

There was a kid from Ada that started for the West I believe, name was Chad Roark. An all stater and pretty good pick up for any D-1 team.

I didn't mean or intend to robust your statement sir. I was just throwing a positive aspect on the game.
