My 2 cents...
Coaches are liable mainly to the fact that they all coaches are responsible for the kids because many of them are still minors and even if theu are 18, they are still in high school. They do have a resonable defense but, some of our coaches sit in the middle or the back of the bus to ensure us not acting up.
Those seniors need to be flat out beaten. There's no excuse in that. That's not just hazing but flat out rape. It doesn't sound like the spur of the moment thing IMO rather a planned idea which is very disturbing.
As adults, we can't let that behavior go. Coaches may cuss, yell at the kids but, we can also execute corpal punishment. That's terribly dissapointing.
This is a good heads up lesson... Need to tighten the reigns during away trips/meets. This can apply to any sport.
