Alright guys, here is my thread. My star QB, who is a senior, is getting looked at with a fairly good amount of interest from Toledo, University of Wyoming, NDSU, and a few other schools. He is an unbelievable athlete and has a very strong throwing arm. He still has a lot of things he can improve on, but overall, a great athlete and a great kid to coach (well mannered, wants to be coached, works his tail off). This past Friday, in our last game of the year, he tears his ACL on the first play of the game. Devestating to him and our team. He is the physical leader and emotional leader. My question arises, since I am only 29 and in my 2nd year as a head coach and thus, new to the whole college recruiting thing, how bad is this injury going to hurt his chances of still being recruited by these colleges? I mean, are his chances basically done or will some of these schools still show interest? I mean, the medical world has improved tremendously over the past 10 years, so the ACL isn't what it once was. Anyway, thanks for listening and thanks for any insight.

The kid from Wisconsin, Tyler Donovan, tore his ACL...2nd to last game of his HS career. UW still recruited him. Now he's a starter.
A school would be foolish to pass on your player. ACL is not a devasting injury like an MCL. It's a stablizer ligament

Thanks guys...i agree dcohio....hopefully the schools keep the interest in him because he is a great kid and a great athlete.
Yash...kind of new to the website...what does PM mean? I would like some D3 schools to show him interest, just in case, some other stuff falls through. And he is as advertised...did not play in the last game of the year and was still voted offensive player of the year in the conference. Yash, let me know how to get in touch and I will give you some info

PM means private message or personal message me through the site, but you already figured out how to do it.
