I have been looking around for new headseats for our staff this season. I was thinking it would be cool if we had a speaker in the QBs and MLBs helmets so we could call in plays that way . . .but I haven't seen that as part of any of the packages I've looked at. Anyone know who manufactures and sells these helmet speakers (and compatible headset package)? -Aaron Beineke, Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator North East Hurricanes "Hardest working coach in semi pro football" www.northeasthurricanes.org aaronbeineke@northeasthurricanes.org

I am pretty sure we can use them in Semi pro. I just can't find anywhere to buy it . .. . I was watching NFL Europe over the weekend and I saw them using the helmet speaker, but it was not on the headsets. The OC had a seperate walkie talkie that he used to call in the play.

Not sure if the home made device would do the job as it would have to be really sturdy to with stand the pounding from football collisions and also be able to deal with various forms of bad weather we have here in New England. Maybe I'll call the Patriots front office and see what they use since no one seems to know about this.
