I believe these three types of teams are pretty common...and a lot of teams fall into each category.
What would you rather have to work with? Why?
Humor me as I burn through these last few hours before a 4 day weekend

Realizing that every team is different, I would choose #1 as they consistantly beat the teams they should (indicates they are focused) and in my eye, they just need to increase their vision, strength, speed, motivation, ect. to begin beating the teams that are above them.

I would prefer to inherit a loser program..........lot more reward for it. That, and people are more inclined to do it "your way" rather than hang on to past glories (because there are none).
Build all the momentum you can in the first two years....to carry your program through the trying years (first season is a wash, anyway) and build the foundation of your program with the weight room and feeder.

I'd take the inconsistent team.........sounds like they have the talent, just lack attitude, coaching, direction----all things a HC can control

As someone else said in a previous thread -- orphans.

I'd take the inconsistant team as well. I took on a loser program and it is still a loser program even after I left. Not enough bodies, or bodies willing to break loser habits to turn it around.

inconsistent to me means potential and I would like that best...
Potential means you ain't done it yet....but you still can!
