I just graduated this year, and will be helping out with the Varsity O-line, and primary Freshman O-Line coach (same school I graduated from). Just thought I'd ask if there is any advice out there for me. Today was the first day of Two-a days and things went really well.

Coach,
Congrats! I hope you have a blast!
Some small pieces of advice:
1. Focus on fundamentals as much as you can. Don't just tell the kids WHAT to do, but tell them HOW to do it!
2. Respect them all and treat them like men and they will do the same for you.
3. Care about each one of them and show genuine interest in their development, both in and out of football.
4. Be intense
5. Be consistent
6. Always have a plan and a purpose when you are in practice. Be prepared. Run drills for a purpose, not to waste time.
7. Make sure you understand that your role is to support the vision of the Head Coach!
8. Enjoy yourself!
