Say you where confronted by the "FOOTBALL GODS" (hypothetically speaking) and they told you-you could only run 2 formations all year (nothing more or nothing less) and if you didn't run these formations, you would never win a game again . What would be your 2 formations? Mine would be: Double tight I and a Spread set

double slot: slots 1 x 1 off OT trips w/ slot back
under center. triple option. this is actually only 1 formation shy of our whole offense. add a spread 4 wide.

Give a 2 x 2 set and a 3 x 1 set. Basic but can run everything out of it.Plain simple and to the point.

LOL ... That's a good one Huey, Gods didn't say anything about MOTION. You just open the flood gates. The Gods might condemn you to hell...

Without motions you probably wouldn't be running the DW or flexbone and such so Motion has to be in.
1. I-Formation Twins to one side TE to other (with motion this could give you 3xTE, Normal I-Form, 2x2 w/TE and varieties of Wings possitions with FB /H-Back, HB, or Slot man and Offset I formations)
2. RB , HBI-Formation 3WR - (Motioning your H-BACK you can get 3x1, 2x2 and such)
Which brings up something else in which I will start another thread about.

tog, take a look at whips formation again, it would just mean moving the X reciever over to the other side, "flipped"

single back 3WR 1RB
Pro I 3WR Pro Back.
Can always sub slot wr w/TE and motion him into position for different blocking angles.

tog, take a look at whips formation again, it would just mean moving the X reciever over to the other side, "flipped" then that is not what i would consider flipped if the te stays on the same side to me flip means the whole thing red and blue wing t names confuse me
