Not sure if this helps, but if you have the old Hudl Mercury app, download from Youtube and upload through Mercury.

I’ve done it before by downloading from YouTube. Uploading it to a video editing program and cutting it up play by play and cutting out all the extra stuff then downloading that and uploading it to hudl.
It wasn’t worth the time. I’d rather just click through and use old school scouting techniques.

Has anyone figured out how to upload games streamed on youtube for scouting in hudl? Yes. You need to download the YouTube video (Google that - lots of ways to do it). Then upload to Hudl, then edit the video to snip to individual plays. I do this when we get opponents who have fast tempo to get an accurate read on the speed.

If you have trouble downloading from Youtube (which mostly works, but there are some I've had that always get error messages when trying to download), a less efficient way is to screen record.
Usually, I do that with only about 10 or so minutes of recording (I do it for some of our JV games that we don't film, but are on NFHS), but I have done a full game or two this way.
