Suggestions on technique tapes, and anything else that my help. We will be running a spread offense this season. My best runner is my QB (sub 11 sec 100m). So please help a brother out.

Mike13 I have spent all 5 yrs I have been coaching, coaching OL in the spread. I dont know if you consider that experienced or not and I dont have a whole lot of videos stuff, most of what I learned is from clinics and visits to colleges but I will try to share what I know if you would like.

Any help you could give would be great. I was a wideout in college. So I have had to rely on the experience of others when it comes to the OL. I was watching this falls game tapes and decided that something has to be done. Any suggestions that you could make would be greatly appreciated.

Coach Mike I will try to help, are you looking for schemes? (ie zone or dart) or are you looking for tips on technique. Just email me and I will get back to you.

as far as technique I think the DeLeone Tapes on offensive line play are excellent. Great teaching progressions on the drive block, zone schemes, combo's for GT and Dart, etc....

Anything you can get from Deleone is a great start. I think he does the best job from stance and steps that you will find anywhere.

Who produces the Deleone tapes? Does Sysko or Coaches Choice carry them?

Coach Mike13, Can provide some info. We run the spread with some success. E-mail tampafb@verizon.com and I'll send you what I have this weekend.
But, you still need to find an OL coach.

Coach Mike I have a suggestion for you. Dont be afraid to hire a guy that has coached OL on the Jr high Level at a bigger school. Some of those guys will be good some may not be but its a place to look.

The school system will not hire another coach and I don't use parents. Our school is the low man on the totem pole in the county. I only have two varsity assitance and neither works as a teacher.
