This may not be interesting to anybody else but me for reasons you'll see.
Robbie Gould, the former Bears and 49ers kicker, has been named new HFC at Rolling Meadows IL HS.
On Christmas Eve 2006 I had opportunity to be down on Ford Field prior to Bears at Lions game.
After Bears' Specialty period was over and rest of team came on field to warm-up, Gould came over to sideline near where I was at.
He set up on intersection of GL and SL (where pylon would be).
He kicked five or six at the Goal Posts from there.
All but one went through.
If he can coach near as good as he could kick, Rolling Meadows is in good hands.
