let's see how many balanced formations we can come up with
balanced meaning, the same number of guys on both sides of the ball
two te oneback=ace double twins= doubles inverted double twins=snug flexbone=doubleslot two te double wing=doublewing two tight bone=bone open bone=bone open
that's all i can think of right now
you could possibly do the same things out of the gun with the back behind the qb to make it truly balanced but that would limit a little of what you can do out of it

Wing-T--FB on the midline with a HB, and TE to each side. Inverted wishbone
BTW triple I which I call "String I" is great on the goal line.
