I have downloaded it and think if I could pull off a blend of that and the Coverdale it could be devastating. I have looked over both and love both for different reasons (duh) but wonder why no one else speaks of the Cube...is it not very good or just what is it? Thanks for your opinions fellas?

Coach: Welcome to the golden age of Internet coaching, where every idea has a chance of making someone's download list. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I know the coaches involved with writing and producing the Cube, and I credit them with a lot of good offensive thinking at the youth level (not that the Cube wouldn't work fine in high school as well). In fact, the idea of shifting from a balanced-T formation to an unbalanced direct-snap formation was at the heart of Knute Rockne's success with the Notre Dame Box in the 1920's -- so this stuff has been thought of before. What Coach Fish, the Cube's author, has done is to extend that simple idea into a system which includes the Wyatt Double Wing, the Warner Single Wing, and the wishbone, and that uses common blocking schemes and similar backfield actions wherever possible to make the multiple Cube offense as simple as possible to teach. The bottom line on why you haven't heard more about the Cube is that very few coaches have heard of it -- it is even more obscure than Coach Freeborn's Equalizer Offense or my Wild Bunch (yes, I too am an "Internet offense" inventor...) Coach Fish hasn't used it for a couple of years, having returned full time to coaching the Double Wing, but that doesn't mean the Cube isn't a great system -- it just means it is lying there waiting for someone to conquer the world with it... ;D ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ;D

I did not know that you were the author of the wild bunch...I have a ton of your stuff on my list..we will be running MUCH of it. I am awed...may I ask a favor....I would not trouble you to send me everything that you would...but I have to at least ask this..I really like your stuff...could you send an email when you get some free time just explaining the ins and outs...an overview if you would.. We will be using it (with your ok of course) this season and with it being my 1st year I would really appreciate learning from the King!!

Coach: There is also a 117-page version out there that diagrams the plays against the 5-3 as well...

To me the rubics cube is simply the DW from multiple sets. It is brilliant. I am going to use some of the motion from the bone look in some of my stuff. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
