We just learned that digital scout will not be able to be used for stat keeping this year. What does everyone use to take stats on Friday nights?

Anyone use this? this season? We need a conference wide stats program. Conference-Wide? We can't even get coaches in conference around here to even get a long, let alone use common technology. I've built an Excel Spreadsheet that can keep everything you need pretty easily, and then you can put everything into Maxpreps quickly, which does the season-stats. What capabilities are you needing for your conference? |

What capabilities are you needing for your conference? Half the state used digital scout for their stats, fast fairly easy and cheap (so cheap they don't offer it anymore). Every possible area gets covered so we don't have to listen to LB coaches tell us about their kid with 150 tackles in 7 games. I have an excel sheet for my stuff and most of the coaches have something similar they put together. The conf. manager compiles what we side for the website on a word doc. I would be happy with tackles solo/assisted, INT's, sacks, TFL and fumbles caused and recovered. Passing, Rushing, Receiving and Punt net yards, Kick net yards, return yards, PAT/FG attempted and made. They used to have 15 D categories and 10 O categories, including targets and drops for receivers. |
