Go with Pro Scout Video! It is free and does most of what you want it to do.

Last year our staff spent several months researching and doing demos of all the major video editing systems (Webb, Proscout, DSV, LRS, Coachcomm, etc) and several smaller ones also. I think we never came across Immersionware because it doesn't seem to sell itself as a video editing application. Based on their website, they seem to try to be the best playbook software. So I guess it would depend on what your needs are. Compare it to Playmaker Pro for playbook software. Playmaker seems to be the industry standard, with the remaining coaches using MS Word or PowerPoint. For less than $200 it's much cheaper than Immersionware. I was about to spend thousands of dollars on Webb or DSV last year, when a couple of coaches on another forum told me about Proscout donation program. Your high school can get a complete site licsense of their software for free. They get a organization with deep pockets (like the NFL Player Assoc) to pay for your copies of the software. We went with it and were very happy. We spent the extra money on add'l computers. Check it out - it's quite a deal www.proscoutvideo.com
