Has anyone every used the Composite GSTs vs the leather ones? I hate paying 100 dollars for footballs and wonder what they main difference would be. I am tempted to save $65 a ball.

The composites get really slick when wet. They're borderline unusable in rain, even when being toweled off. If anyone has a solution to that, I'd love to hear it.

If you condition it well, there will be enough water repellent to at least make them serviceable by being wiped down for a while

I'm not the ball guy, the QB coach is..... but he can put together a ball that will stick to your little finger if you want I'll check to see.... and to be honest I don't know what ball we use.... my DB ball bag is a half step above the kicker's practice balls

We do plenty of ball prep for our leathers, but nor for composites.

Composite balls blow. Our old HC made us use them whenever it rained so we didn't ruin the leather, and they are garbage. Slick to snap, throw, and catch. I don't hold drops against WR when using them in the rain.
