Coaches,
We are in the market to purchase a new EZ camera and we have 3-5K to play with. That said, what companies do you recommend/not recommend? Thanks!

I can't say exactly how well it works yet, but Hudl is working on their Focus Flex camera, which is ultimately designed to be a "stand alone" EZ camera. They aren't marketing it to football yet, as they are trying to work out any kinks through other sports before pushing it out to football.
It is an add-on to your current subscription and that dictates the annual cost, and you would have to buy the tripod for $500, but that seems like the new thing in the next few years and we didn't want to spend that $5k and then spend $1500 a year after that with the manual camera collecting dust.
Hope this helps.

Hi-Pod has several options in the 3-5 K range and I highly recommend their product

Wow, not sure where my brain is at. Thank you. I was thinking "easy" like some new "easy" system.

www.sportscope.com/endzone-camera-wireless.phpI had this camera at my previous school. We also had instant replay that we used on the sidelines with Ipads. We could also film with an Ipad, but I thought it was a bit difficult to follow the flow of the ball, etc. Nice camera, easy set up (waaaay easier that hi-pod which I've also had), but I recommend the joystick version that they offer. Edit: this one is in your price range www.sportscope.com/endzone-cameras.php
