Imagine being a Christian school and trying to sell Rush Propst to your parents and donors as your AD and co HC.

Imagine being a Christian school and trying to sell Rush Propst to your parents and donors as your AD and co HC. Christians like to win as much as us heathens do.

Lou holtz was the man! Why is Rush so successful? My quick synopsis? 1. He knows football. 2. Winning is the the primary driver of his conscience.

The man... who openly advocated and supported a politician who was trying to block the establishment of a national holiday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. who left a trail of NCAA penalties in his wake after leaving Minnesota, Notre Dame, and South Carolina....

Can I get a ELI5 about his background? Know nothing about the man other than a poor reputation.

Just proves that the caharade of "character first" and "building men" is second fiddle to winning football games. Was his last stop Valdosta or did he have something in between? I only ask because he wasn't even all that successful at Valdosta. Amazing that schools keep hiring this guy. Drama follows him everywhere.

I think Valdosta was his most recent job.

He just got hired in January to be AD and co HC at a place called Coosa Christian. See above posts.
