Anyone have any fundraiser ideas? I thought about the "Freedom Fundraiser" that BFS offers or a coat check at basketball games. Want to include it in my football program outline. Or if anyone has different things they do and can forward them to me that would be great! thanks in advance

Golf tourny Bowling tourny Dart tourny Pool tourny Shuffle Board tourny Washer tourny Trivia night mouse races gold cards lift a thon 3 on 3 basketball 5 on 5 flag football
i guess it all just depends on what the people in your community enjoy doing that they would not mind giving extra money for.

We sell Gold Cards, have both a golf and poker tourney, and sell cookie dough.

when placing this in my program manual should i have just a list of ideas and at the top of the page say something like "All implemented fundraisers will be first discussed in coaches meeting and approved by administration"?

aj with a poker turney, do you have to fill out any paperwork with your local govt ? No we did not. We went through our local Elk's lodge- they already do a weekly tournament so we simply talked with the man who runs that, confirmed a date with him and now we are securing prizes for the event. In Az. it's legal as long as participants win prizes and not cash.

i do not know if the school would in favor of such a thing with the whole "gambling issue" It's for those 21 and older and it's a legal adult activity that is being run to conform with state law. Why would it be a problem? Many schools have golf tourneys where they sell alcoholic beverages- is that to a problem? I live in the real world where adults can choose to play cards- it's an off campus event that is run following the law anyone has a problem with that they need to get a life.
