Anyone using either of these? If so how are they to use?
Is the network connection reliable for games? Any major issues?

Hudl Sideline when it works is great. But it is finicky as all get out. Highly reliant on having top of the line iPads to keep refresh speeds up.
We have talked to GameStrat but needing two laptops to make it go seemed like too much of a hassle.

We used Hudl Sideline, I don't like it. It is not reliable at all. But our AD bought the whole school package so we are stuck with it.

GAME STRAT. Not even close. Game strat worked for us in every system. I've used them both and won't go back to Hudl sideline after using Game Strat.

HUDL sideline is sometimes a little "glitchy".
But, when it's working, it's great. Recommend getting upgraded iPads.

I would add vid swap as an option. More afford than hudl sideline. And once we learned how to get it set up right. Worked great the rest of the season.

HUDL Sideline user for 3 years. No major issues after the first season.
GameStrat user the past 2 seasons. Have enjoyed it. We ran into a bit of an issue using a different computer during our dry run scrimmage this past year. The 24/7 support line was amazing. No issues after that day.
I had apprehensions with the two laptops myself but our tech department loans us two junkers that aren't good enough for classrooms anymore but are good enough for our minimal use. We had the camcorders already so didn't need to buy anything new.
We have a guy on staff who has used four different systems up to this point at previous stops. He says GameStrat does just fine compared to all the rest.
