I've heard about a fundraiser whereby each kid has a calendar page (one month) and tries to get sponsors for each day - $1 for the 1st...$10 for the tenth, and so on. Are any of you guys familiar with this ? Can you give more details ?

We did the calendar fundraiser this year. It was really good for us. Small program, 50 players and we raised over $12,000. Next year we are going to include a drawing for prizes. For example, you donate $25, that buys you 25 chances at one of our prizes. (Gas cards, tv, gift cards etc)

I have done it, but my daughters competitive cheer team has, if a kid sales every day of their month, they bring in 492 dollars I believe it is. Times that by how many ever kids you have and its a pretty good fundraiser even if they dont sale all their days.

Is it this simple ? *Pass out a calendar page for 1 month to each kid *Have them get a sponsor for each day - $1 for the first, $2 for the second, etc.
I like the idea of a person giving $25 for the twenty-fifth plus 25 chances in a raffle.
