So as I woke up at 10am yesterday, it hit me how awesome it is to be retired.
I started thinking about the hours I kept as a long time TXSFB oc. None of this is complaining or anything. Just what it was for a loooooong time.
Monday---be in office by 7am, get school stuff, oc stuff, laundry done before class
------class all day including athletics with a "30" minute lunch where we had to get the kids out of the locker room and get laundry started
--------practice, laundry, film until around 7 pm and head home
edit---one conference period where we had to hang laundry and go set up the practice field with dummies etc
Tuesday and Wed are the same except after 7 go to jr hi games to watch/"recruit"/help---around there until around 830pm
Thursday same thing except jv game day, fish and jv teams back to back at home or on the road---get home midnight or later
edit conference period usually chill here--hang out and bs in the office---then supervise lockerrooms until game time
Friday --game day 7am still, but get home around midnight unless far road trip
Saturday get there by meeting at 8am--generally stayed until 4:30 or so
Sunday-get there by 10am--meeting at noon (HC usually wanted people to be able to go to morning church)---stay until done---offensive guy here so 5 or 6pm usually. Those defensive guys stayed much much later at times.
