Does anyone know anything about it or what it is?
We have one of our opponents gonna run it, so just curious.

When Emory Bellard, inventor of the Wishbone offense, moved one HB up to a Wing he called it the "Wing Bone."
Others called that and at its inception the Flexbone the "Broken Bone."
Perhaps "Broken Wing" is similar - the Dive Back (or HB) moved up into the Slot opposite the Wing.
Have seen that formation for a long time. Delaware called it Red-Blue as I recall.
Or perhaps it's a Double Slot resembling Run 'n Shoot? Tiger Ellison's (inventor of the R 'n S) running game was Wing-T oriented.

I assume its some version of the things you mentioned but I've never heard that term before.

Looked like Wing Right/Left but with 2 WRs instead of the 1 TE/ 1 WR Delaware formation. Army ran a lot of jet sweeps, traps, belly, some double option. Occasionally a toss to the TB in the backfield. Passing game was PA and Sprint-out.

1980 Sugar Bowl: Arkansas (Veer-Lou Holtz) vs. Alabama (Wishbone-Bear Bryant)
Alabama ran their Triple option from this:
..O..O..O..X..O..O...........O L.............Q.........R ...............F

Ran the Double Wing UC for years. This was our Broken Wing look:
...............L..T..G..C..G..T.....R ..........................Q.........C .....................A...B
Basically our version of the Texas Slot-T
