Suppose you move to another state, take over a program that has a few guys on staff that got passed over for the job,...you want to keep them on staff because they are teachers in teh building and they know the kids and community well....how might you bring in new blood and train the incumbants into a cohesive group? how and where might you find new coaches for the staff?....I have ideas, id just like to hear yours.

Coach, you thoughts about keeping them on staff is at the very least smart, thing is are they on board with what you are trying to do? Are they a cohesive staff or have they had problems in the past with being cohesive? Any bad blood between them? I would at least do some investigating before keeping them all on staff. be sure to do some homework first before jumping the gun and keeping them on board because it might be a disaster. The reason they are bringing you there might be to install a whole new staff. If you are going to keep the incumbents then I would definately look at some team work classes for you all to go to together, some kind of team building clinics ect... would be a good idea.
