Coaches, All things equal what topics are you most interested in hearing about at clinics. If you had a say, what would be some of the topics this year you would be most interested in hearing about?
Mine would be the following:
1. Interviewing to be a Head Football Coach - from an athletic director's perspective
2. Gameplanning - O/D/K
3. Gadgets/Shot Plays
4. SPT practice drills/circuits
5. Different ways to practice/schedules
6. Situations to practice that are overlooked

I’m sick of RPO sessions on bubble and key screens when there’s so much more.

I don’t give a fuk about your resume. Everybody has to start their presentation with a laundry list of places they were and people they know. The only exceptions are the dudes who actually know something and give you the details you want to hear

The next time I do a speech it’s going to be “Crazy shitt we do that you might be able to use or at least laugh at.”
My last two stops I’ve been lucky enough to work for guys that have trusted me and let me run the show. Part of that has given me the confidence to try some stuff that traditional football people might not want to try. Some of it flopped and some of it actually worked and stuck so that’s where I’d go speaking wise.
In the same breath, when I go to a clinic I want to hear stuff guys are doing that I can bring back and apply. I don’t want someone to tell me about Sabans stuff or Kirbys stuff or anyone else’s stuff. I can read that stuff from those guys and figure it out. But if you are doing something unique to your program based off their stuff that you adapted then I am all ears.
I think what you so that’s unique is most interesting to me.

I like the idea of "shot plays". If you have game planed specific shot plays what are you looking for as keys to use them. Timing in games etc. It can be big payoffs or complete flops.

It might not be "for the masses" but the narrower the topic the better so, you can go into real depth on technique, drills, trouble shooting, etc.

I also would like presentations on drill work that is applicable to our level of guys.
What the drill looks like
Coaching Points
Frequency

Two things.....
1. How can I drink beers like I did at Clinics 20 years ago and not feel the way I do now the next day.
2. Defending the Wing-T and how to adjust on the fly when specific plays are hurting you.
Bonus Topic: I wouldn't mind listening to a few different guys talk about how they like to install their defensive systems.
Fronts, Coverages, order of blitz installs, must have drills for what they do, etc. And I'd like to know the Why's? that go with it.
Would just like to see how we differ, thus the reason I mentioned listening to multiple coaches.

Installation plans: part to whole and whole to part.
Particularly when adding novel plays/ marriages of plays.
We run zone scheme and a trap scheme. So adding a jet series would be novel.
