I would like to learn to build out automatic calculation spreadsheets for various aspects of our program. I'm not looking for templates.
We are looking at weight percentages, maxes, point values, etc. TIA

Are you proficient at setting up and formatting your columns, cells, etc?

HIT ME UP COACH...
I can show you what I have already setup and see if we can make it fit for what you are looking for or I can walk you through setting one up the way you want.

Right now I'm stuck trying to get a data range to convert to points.
EXAMPLE: Here the first set of data is in the first cell and the point value is in the second. Excel is not recognizing that 6.07 is less than 6.13 and therefore will not apply a point total to any range of numbers between 6.07-6.13
6.07-6.13 1

What specifically do you want done with that information? I think this refers to someone's 40 time improving, and you want them to receive points based on the improvement in speed? If so there are various ways you could do that in a formula. If this is so please let me know and I will share a few.

Yes, that's it. There are a few things that info in the cell needs to do.
1. Excel needs to recognize the entire range. Example: 6.13-6.07 = 1. When we put Jimmy's name down on sheet 3 with a 40 of 6.08 the point should auto tally 1, and so on. 2. It would be nice if I could figure out how to have from 4.4 to 6.13 auot populate in increments of .05. EX: 6.12-6.07

It would be nice if I could figure out how to have from 4.4 to 6.13 auot populate in increments of .05. EX: 6.12-6.07 My best advice would be to format your spreadsheet where you put each different time (6.13, 6.07, 4.40) in a different column. With excel its always best to keep each data point separated into its own cell. For Example: Column B is all of your initial 40 yard dash times (this would be where Jimmy ran a 6.13), then Column C would be there next 40 time (where Jimmy ran a 6.07). This would allow you to run all kinds of formulas with your data, while still keeping the 40 times visible. Let me know if you choose to do this, I can break down various formulas to get the results you want. If you are married to keeping it in one cell, then when you run the formula you will only see the outcome of the formula, and not the actual data. In regards to your second request that can be done. Select the cells you want to expand the decimals for, then click on the button in the top banner that has a left pointing arrow followed by a decimal point & zeroes "<--.000". This allows you to display numbers to the tenth, hundredth, etc.
