Since this seems to be the audience I need, whatever happened to the lawsuit effecting Oklahoma playoffs? Was the case ever settled?

The supreme court upheld the OSSAA's ruling. The kid (QB from Shawnee) didn't get to play. Tulsa East Central beat Shawnee two days later 35-0 (?).

Thanks, it seemed like an unfortunate situation for all involved.

It was an unfortunate situation. After the game was over the Team that actually won, their coaches would even come across and shake hands with Shawnee's coaches! I thought it lacked in the class section of football, but then again I can see their frustrations.

The delay had nothing to do with not shaking hands. The head coach of the winning team stated that there were several altercations throughout the game, and he was just trying to keep more from happening.

Thanks for clarifying, On the Oklahoma Coaches Assoc. website it sounds like it was because of the delay. Were you at the game or know someone from there? Again thanks for the clarification. Maybe you should tell those on the OK Coaches website these clarifying details.

That is what the head coach of East Central said in the paper. He was very worried about having one of his players ejected, which would cause that player to miss the state championsiop game.
