Hello all, the Coaches at the school I work at were interested in finding out the cost of the Hudl Athletic Department package. Anyone have experience with this package and at least a rough estimate on cost?

We have a lot of teams that use HUDL besides football. Our AD met with HUDL about it. It was a flat no go due to cost. Don't know what it was---but it was enough to not even rate consideration. There's a reason they don't advertise the cost and make you jump through hoops to get it.

Could you enlighten me? You see this with commercial-grade equipment all the time, too, so maybe its a similar reason?

If they post the price, you won't bother talking to them about it because it is so expensive. The old saying "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" It's like when I go to the AFCA convention and see all the neat stuff in the exhibits----until you find out the cost of those neat things. the expensive stuff never has a sign with the price

It's about 9k for all sports, and the hudl focus camera setups for the field and gym.

Our cost was 9k this year. They offered a deal to lock you in for this price. You get two focus cameras, as well as a district accounts for all teams. As well as the premium sideline, and assist. It is worth the price if you get all the teams to use it. Right now at my school 90% of the teams use it.

Does the 9k get reduced the 2nd year when you don't have to purchase the two focus cameras?

No, the way they explained it the cameras are free. The value is worth it if you have a district who uses the Hudl services, if football is the only team then definitely not worth it.

It's 11.5 K. I should also add that they get you to sign some kind of binding contract for 2 years. It's not worth the price.

I disagree about the price, it all depends on how many sports use it, and what do you normally get with it. Plus you can easily flip it into a fundraiser
