" He's dumber than hammered {sh*t}." My coach who was older than dirt in the 1970's used to say this one. " Puppy puke" Supposed to mean weak, terrible player. One of our scouts used this to describe an opponents defensive player. He was anything but and kicked our ass all night. Keep in mind that most of the sayings in this thread will get you fired nowadays.  |

"He picked the wrong parents" - a player who is talented but is under sized and/or slow
"Underwear all star" - kid who looks great until they get pads on.

hot dog eaters - bench riders/dress and watch guys slower than smoke off a turd - not fast high as a camel's c ock - not playing with leverage Statue of Liberty defense - when you sub in all the scrubs in a blowout (give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to get onto the field, the wretched refuse of your bench) son of the booster club president/superintendent/school board - starter/kid getting lots of playing time who isn't very good; or when describing your offense/defense in a clinic setting explaining you can get by with a less player in a certain position plays end, guard, and tackle - sits on the end of the bench, guards the water bucket, and tackles anyone who comes near it legend in his own mind - back up who thinks he should be starting We call them sammich eaters.....and superintendant's son....and Cubans (they only go in once somebody lights up the victory cigar. ATRs....all the rest PBH.....permanent bag holder coached with a guy who had a million of them, called no player by his rightful name (anywhere from lardbucket to much worse), but man could he coach some OL...RIP |
